Cyber Protocol is proud to announce the appointment of Ethan Cross as Managing Director – North America, a strategic leadership role that signals our deepening commitment to proactive, high-impact cyber defense across the continent.
Ethan officially stepped into this position in April 2025, following his tenure as Senior Team Leader for The Aegis Initiative, one of the founding pillars that merged into the current Cyber Protocol Unit.
With more than 15 years of experience navigating critical security operations, coordinating transnational threat responses, and managing high-performance teams under intense pressure, Ethan brings not only tactical excellence—but the rare ability to unify vision and execution.
A Proven Leader from Inside Our Ranks
Before the 2025 merger that united Atlas Sentinel Group, HexaTrust Intelligence, The Aegis Initiative and nSure into what is now Cyber Protocol, Ethan was already shaping how offensive defense could be deployed for national-scale resilience. As the lead of Threat Recon Unit 4 at The Aegis Initiative, he directed multiple live engagements across public infrastructure, telecoms, and finance—all while mentoring future field leaders and liaising with U.S. federal stakeholders.
Ethan’s integration into the Cyber Protocol core leadership team was both natural and essential. His unique combination of strategic acumen, human-level team dynamics, and on-the-ground field credibility is now steering our most complex operations across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.

What’s Next?
Ethan will be based out of our Washington, D.C. Threat Coordination Hub, leading a newly consolidated North American team spanning operations in New York, Austin, Montreal, and Mexico City. His first mission: scale Project HELIX—our adaptive breach simulation system—to all enterprise clients operating critical infrastructure in Tier-1 cities by Q1 2026.
He will also take point on new collaborations with federal threat intelligence centers, private security consortia, and Cyber Protocol Academy programs launching later this year across U.S. universities and defense research labs.
